Terms of use
Last updated: November 4, 2026
Scope
These terms govern the use of UnboltPDF, published by Cédric Bournazaud EI (Studio2B). By using the website you agree to them.
Service
UnboltPDF provides free online PDF tools without registration. The service is financed by advertising. Uploads are limited to 50 MB per task; the service may be temporarily limited under heavy load or in case of abuse.
Acceptable use
You may only process documents you have the right to use. "Unlock PDF" is intended for files you are authorized to open. Automated mass usage, circumventing limits, attempting to disrupt the service and processing unlawful content are prohibited.
Your documents
You remain the sole owner of, and responsible for, the documents you process. They are processed in RAM and not kept: always keep a copy of your originals.
Intellectual property
The website and its elements (texts, code, trademarks, graphics) are protected. No license is granted beyond the normal use of the service.
Copyright complaints
We do not host user content: uploaded files are not stored or published. If you believe the website itself infringes your rights, send a notice with the details required by applicable law (including the U.S. DMCA, 17 U.S.C. § 512) to cedric@studio2b.io.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. THE PUBLISHER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOSS OF DATA OR SERVICE UNAVAILABILITY.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
Third-party links and ads
Ads and links to third-party websites are provided by our partners; the publisher is not responsible for their content.
Privacy
See the Privacy policy and the Cookie policy.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, please first contact cedric@studio2b.io to seek an amicable solution. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of their country of residence and may bring claims before their local courts. Otherwise, the courts of Grasse (France) have jurisdiction.
Changes
The publisher may update these terms; the version in force is the one published on this page.
