Data controller
Cédric Bournazaud EI (Studio2B), 739 chemin des combes, 06600 Antibes, France — contact: cedric@studio2b.io. No data protection officer is required; any request can be sent to this address.
Zero-Storage Architecture
Files you upload are processed exclusively in volatile memory (RAM) for the duration of the request (milliseconds to a few seconds). They are never written to a disk, a temporary folder, a database or cloud storage, and the memory is released as soon as the result is returned to you. We do not read, analyze or keep the contents of your documents.
Previews (thumbnails), PDF-to-image conversion and margin detection run locally in your browser with PDF.js; nothing is sent to the server for that step.
Data processed, purposes and legal bases (GDPR)
1. Files and processing options — purpose: provide the tool you request — legal basis: performance of the service you request (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)) — retention: in memory during processing only, never stored.
2. IP address — purpose: security and rate limiting (abuse prevention) — legal basis: legitimate interest in protecting the service (art. 6(1)(f)) — retention: in RAM only, a few minutes. Application logs record no IP address, file name or content: only the tool used, file sizes and processing time. Technical logs of the hosting infrastructure may contain IP addresses and are kept for 30 days at most.
3. Browser storage (IndexedDB, localStorage) — purpose: hand your result over to another tool ("Continue with your PDF") and remember your privacy choices — legal basis: strictly necessary storage (exempt from consent) — retention: the handed-over file is deleted as soon as it is reused or after 10 minutes.
4. Advertising — the service is free and financed by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies or identifiers to serve, measure and, if you consent, personalize ads — legal basis: your consent (art. 6(1)(a)), collected by a Google-certified consent management platform before any non-essential cookie is set.
